I AM MAN, I THINK.

Have you ever thought that being a man, beyond all the roles and expectations, could simply be about getting lost in your thoughts, day after day?

In the "I AM MAN, I THINK" project, I am exploring and capturing the essence of those moments when men are fully immersed in their thoughts. These are the quiet, often unnoticed instances where the mind drifts freely, beyond societal roles, expectations, or external pressures. These moments reflect a deeply human experience, one that is raw, reflective, and uniquely personal.

My goal is to freeze those ongoing moments in time, to visually represent the stories and emotions that surface when men allow themselves to get lost in their thoughts.

Through this project, I aim to peel back the layers of identity that men wear daily and uncover the silent, thoughtful moments that often go unspoken. Each portrait is not just an image but a glimpse into the complexities of the mind, its struggles, reflections, and truths.

I AM MAN, I THINK project isn’t about posing or perfection; it’s about vulnerability and authenticity. It’s about creating a space where men can simply be, and where their internal world can be captured and shared through the lens of my camera.

OUTCOME:
Just like the other project I have done a few years ago, I AM WOMAN, I AM BEAUTIFUL
the outcome of this project will be a unique artistic book featuring the portraits alongside notes from the participants and myself as the photographer, perhaps even from me as an observer. Additionally, there will be a short documentary highlighting the conversations we’ll have at the start of each session, offering deeper insight into the thoughts and emotions behind the images.

Be Part of the Project

What to Expect:

  • A Relaxed, Comfortable Environment: The session will take place in a space where you can feel at ease and free to explore your thoughts.

  • A Moment of Reflection: You’ll sit quietly, allowing your mind to wander and reflect. As I ask a few thought-provoking questions, your role is simple, just think. No need to speak.

  • Authentic Portraits: The aim is to capture your raw, unfiltered self. No posing, no acting, just you in a moment of genuine self-reflection.

  • A Recorded Conversation: At the beginning of each session, I’ll ask you a few questions about life, identity, and what it means to be a man. This conversation will also be recorded and could be featured in a short documentary.
